Business Staffing of America, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Project Manager to oversee Financial Service Technicians for travel pay processing support. Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 18+ Financial Service Technicians in a production-based environment, supporting the US Air Force by processing travel pay operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for all actions concerning contractor personnel.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with Travel Pay Processing to identify and coordinate training and development needs for contractor staff.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve conduct and work-related issues.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Implement necessary disciplinary measures for the Financial Technicians Team.
  • Employee Support: Address and resolve issues raised by subordinates, taking appropriate actions to reduce workplace stress.
  • EEO Program Enforcement: Uphold and enforce the agency's Equal Employment Opportunity program.
  • Policy Communication: Communicate and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and mission objectives to eliminate barriers to mission accomplishment, foster team building, implement quality improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Training Compliance: Ensure all contractor personnel complete the required Air Force training and testing.
  • Security Coordination: Act as the liaison with the Travel Pay Processing - Ellsworth Security Manager for all security clearance matters involving contractor personnel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a staff of 18+ personnel in a production-based environment within the past 5 years.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business is preferred.
  • Experience working with the US military is desirable.
  • Shall possess at a minimum, Interim Secret eligibility prior to start of work (Tier III Investigation with no access to classified).
  • Shall be proficient ni the use of Microsoft Office Programs.
